This beautiful bijou townhouse in the heart of the most stylish town in the Cotswolds is an absolute gem. Set in the heart of the town and built of mellow Cotswold limestone the house dates back to Georgian times and forms part of an attractive terrace just around the corner from everything you need. The bustling market town of Tetbury is currently going from strength to strength and boasts a fantastic range of shops, pubs and boutiques some of which also have outlets in London. It is famed for its particularly good collection of antique and interiors shops and the house reflects this with an upmarket French style.
The townhouse comprises a delightful sitting room room with antique surround open fire flanked by book shelves and interesting pictures and prints throughout. Games cupboard to keep you busy during winter nights in front of the fire and TV with Freeview, comfortable sofa bed sleeping 2 extra (there is a fold out table in the utility should you wish to sleep 6 and all be seated around a table as the kitchen table only seats 4). Softly lit lamps and Sanderson fabric bespoke curtains give this room a lovely relaxed feel.
The pretty kitchen is wood hand-painted kitchen with single oven, extractor and gas hob, Iroko worktops, ceramic sink and stylish fixtures and fittings - a lovely place to cook and relax. A scrub top table seats four adjacent to hand-made bespoke ''Doggy'' print linen blinds with utility cupboard off containing boiler, washer dryer, microwave.
The first floor bedroom has a chic French theme with toile and ticking fabrics and sisal flooring, painted wardrobe with inner shelving, vintage upholstered bench seat and TV with Freeview discretely hidden in the corner. A beautiful tall sash window gives plenty of light and the French painted antique bed boasts a pretty canopy with Manuel Canovas fabric drapes. The master bedroom is accessed off the hallway up the ''wonky'' character staircase and is decorated with a beautiful French ''Empire'' style king-size bed and mahogany dressing table. The feeling of space is created by the vaulted attic ceiling with its huge beams and the en-suite shower room has limestone floor and tiles and pretty LED lighting.

Tetbury is renowned for its antique and bric a brac shops. The town centre also has a number of independent specialist food and clothing shops, banks, charity shops, estate agents and other shops including lifestyle clothing brand Overider, and a branch of the auction house Bonhams and the Prince of Wales's original "Highgrove Shop"
Events in the town include Woolsack Day, held on the last Bank Holiday in May. Hundreds of people line up along Gumstool Hill (an extremely steep street) in the centre of Tetbury to watch the teams. Each competitor must carry a full woolsack on his / her back and race either up, down or up and down the hill.
