This detached lodge enjoys a private location within the grounds of the owner's home and is perfect for couples wanting to explore the Forest of Dean. Enjoying a rural location the neighbouring villages of Longhope (2 miles) Blaisdon (1 mile) and Huntley (2 miles) offer a selection of bakeries butchers and village pubs.

Guests can access the Forest of Dean (7 miles) an area steeped in history and natural beauty. There is plenty to see and do from mountain biking the downhill trials (12 miles) to kayaking the river Wye (16 miles). Visit the market towns of Ross-on-Wye (8 miles) and Ledbury (15 miles) or follow the black and white trail that will take you into many pretty Herefordshire villages.

The city of Gloucester (6 miles) is famous for its Norman Cathedral which has been featured in the Harry Potter films. Enjoying an elevated position where you can enjoy views across treetops towards the Severn Vale this is a wonderful retreat. Access to the annexe is via the gardens with a door into the open-plan living space.

Beautifully finished with bright colours and a contemporary style there is underfloor heating throughout. For relaxing after a day exploring the local area you will find a cosy sofa in front of a Smart TV. For the chef amongst you there is a well-equipped kitchen area complete with everything you may need for home-cooking.

When the day is done you can enjoy a peaceful night in the cosy double bed. Completing the property is a shower room. Outside guests can enjoy an enclosed courtyard garden relax around the outdoor wood burner on the stylish garden furniture and enjoy cooking a tasty meal on the BBQ. There is secure storage for bikes.

Underfloor heating Smart TV in lounge, Sonos sound system. Enclosed garden with wood burner (logs included), table and chairs, and charcoal BBQ.

Private parking for 2 cars. Storage for bikes. Shop and pub 1 mile. BBQ packages, afternoon tea and special birthday treats can be arranged directly with the owner. Sleeps 2 2: double sofa bed in the lounge. Please note in picture 17 there are steps leading to the property which may not be suitable for guests with mobility issues.
