Situated in the historical market town of Moreton-in-Marsh this large character house is well-placed for touring this lush green region of England. The town has a long high street that is flagged by traditional tea rooms shops restaurants and some lovely old period buildings. The town has a market every Tuesday that is well known throughout the Cotswolds.
The house is a level 10-minute walk from the town centre and the main railway station for connections to the cities. Worth including on your touring itinerary is Stow-on-the-Wold Bourton-on-the-Water and Stratford-upon-Avon all within driving distance as well as the numerous pretty towns and villages in the Cotswolds.
Sleeping up to 17 including extra sofa beds this holiday home makes an impression on arrival. The entrance hall leads to two lounges one of which has two large stowaway sofa beds and access to a small conservatory with views of the pleasant garden. Each lounge has comfortable seating and both have a TV/DVD.
The kitchen has a separate utility room next door and is well-equipped with a gas hob with double oven a microwave a dishwasher two fridges a freezer washing machine and a tumble dryer. The airy dining room has a large table that can seat up to 17 people. Also on the ground floor is a twin bedroom. The other five bedrooms are upstairs.
Two bedrooms host three single beds; one of which has an en-suite bathroom with separate shower and WC. The remaining bedrooms all have twin beds; the first two of which have en-suite shower rooms. There is also a bathroom with a shower WC and washbasin too. Outside there is a third of an acre of gardens that encircles three sides of the property.
It hosts secluded patios with garden furniture and a BBQ. There is ample parking too.
