Found approximately three miles away from the pleasant Roman town of Cirencester this tasteful property is quietly nestled in a courtyard setting. It lies in a secluded village in the Duntisbourne Valley which is perhaps one of the prettiest valleys in the Cotswolds with its Saxon-age village church.
There are wonderful views over unspoilt countryside and enjoyable long or short walks including a section of the Macmillan Way. Central for Cheltenham for the horse racing Gloucester for its heritage Oxford for its academia and history Stratford-upon-Avon for its beauty and associations with the playwright William Shakespeare and the quaint Cotswold towns of Burford and Stow-on-the-Wold.
The region has good access to London and the north via train and motorway transport links. Relax in the lounge/diner with its and cosy wood burner where you can snuggle up on the sofa and watch the TV/DVD to watch a movie or listen to the hi-fi. There is a dining area in a wide corner with a table with room for four.
If you decide to stay in and cook a meal there is a well-equipped kitchen with an electric oven and hob a microwave a fridge/freezer dishwasher and a washing machine and tumble dryer. Upstairs is a bedroom with a double zip-and-link bed (which can be made up as a twin on request). There is a further bedroom containing twin beds.
Nearby is a bathroom with a shower over bath and a WC. Stepping outside and overlooking the stream is the enclosed courtyard garden with a BBQ. You are free to make use of the half acre of land. Also across the yard from the cottage an old dairy has been kitted out for walkers for drying outdoor clothes and a place to keep your boots.
There is off-road parking for two cars by the cottage. Need to know: 2 bedrooms 1 double zip and link (which can be made up as a twin) and 1 twin. 1 bathroom shower over bath with WC. Wood burner first basket of logs included. Electric and central heating included. Off road parking available for 2 cars.
