Take a day out to Westonbirt National Arboretum (4 miles) for beautiful walks or Cotswold Water Park (10 miles) is a great opportunity to try some water-based activities.

The Roman town of Cirencester the capital of the Cotswolds is 10 miles away and well worth a visit to learn about its Roman history with the Corinium Museum being a highlight. It is also the perfect spot for attending the Badminton and Gatcombe horse trials. Just outside Tetbury is Chavenage House a beautiful Elizabethan manor house that is open to the public all year round.

After a busy day exploring make your way back to this charming cottage ideally located just off the town centre. Head straight into a living area with its wood burner comfortable seating and dining table for two. Continue through into the fully equipped kitchen ideal for a self-catered break utilising the fantastic local produce you will find in the area.

On the first floor the owners have created another living area with a sofa and Smart TV perfect for enjoying a movie together. Also on this floor is the cosy bathroom. The bedroom is up on the second floor with a king-size bed a partially sloping ceiling and a low window. Heading outside there is a courtyard garden area with garden furniture and a charcoal BBQ a great space to enjoy a drink or dine alfresco.

There is also an outdoor utility cupboard which houses a washing machine. Need to know: 1 king size bedroom. 1 bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Electric oven with induction hob, microwave, fridge with freezer tray, coffee machine and dishwasher. Outdoor utility cupboard with washing machine. Smart TV in lounge.
