Cirencester boasts a rich history dating back to Roman times. Two of the highlights of this town include the impressive church and the amphitheatre.

Foodies are spoilt for choice between traditional Cotswold inns or fine dining restaurants celebrating the region's local produce. The Corinium Museum is a stone's throw away and Cirencester Park is at the end of the road and offers beautiful dog-friendly walks where you can find Beano a van-based café where you can purchase coffee cake or ice cream! Explore the picturesque surrounding countryside with meandering rivers including the source of the Thames.

The Cotswold Water Park (5.5 miles) offers water sports fishing and scenic walks around the lakes. Make your way through a shared gated courtyard off Black Jack Street and into the mews area where this charming cottage is situated with a pretty front patio for the sole use of the cottage. The light-filled ground floor has been lovingly renovated by the owners to offer a welcoming and comfortable space to relax after a busy day exploring the area.

Downstairs is all open plan and you enter the property into the fully equipped kitchen. Enjoy your morning coffee on the beautiful dining table which doubles up as a great place to enjoy a board game and a glass of wine. Continue into the main lounge area which is furnished with comfortable sofas ideal for enjoying a movie on the Smart TV.

For those cooler evenings curl up in front of the wood burner whilst planning the next day's activities. Head upstairs and into the light and spacious king-size bedroom. Enjoy a great night's sleep with luxurious linens and a quality bed. The high ceilings have two skylights that are equipped with electric blinds to allow you to bring the light in on those slower mornings.

The en-suite bathroom has heated tiled flooring and a lovely walk-in shower to refresh ready for the day's activities. At the entrance to the cottage there is a patio area with a large table and chairs ideal for dining alfresco or enjoying a drink or two before heading out on the town.
