It is also located just 9 miles from the heart of the Forest of Dean an area steeped in history and natural beauty.

Hire bikes (13 miles) and follow the cycle trails through the forest or explore the sculpture trail at Beechenhurst (11 miles) enjoy paddleboarding at Mallards Pike (14 miles) or test your head for heights at Go Ape (16 miles). Kayaking and climbing can be found at Symonds Yat Rock (17 miles). The city of Gloucester (6 miles) is famous for its Cathedral which has been featured in the Harry Potter films.

Accessed via some wooden steps this converted railway carriage enjoys the privacy of its own grounds with far-reaching views over the treetops towards the Severn Vale. The carriage has large double doors that open into the main living area which has been finished beautifully with stylish touches. Here guests can relax in the armchairs in front of the wood burner and enjoy a chapter of a good book.

There is a double bed for a peaceful night's rest. A composting WC lies 10 metres away from the carriage and a private shower room is 100 metres. Outside you will find a covered dining area that can seat up to four guests along with an outdoor kitchen area equipped with kitchen utensils pots and pans for the chef to get creative.

There is also a great selection of games including Connect Four Jenga and soft archery. Relax in the wood-fired hot tub after a busy day exploring the local area and enjoy soaking beneath the night sky. There is also secure storage for bikes. Need to know: 1 double bedroom. 1 shower room 100 metres from the carriage, and 1 composting WC 10 meters away.
